Due to the new restructuring implemented at the Near East University, Özer Turan appointed as the Press and Public Relations Director of the institution.

Özer Turan, who has served in various positions in the Istanbul press life for many years, was appointed to the Press and Public Relations Directorate established within the body of Near East University.

Near East University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ pointing out the outstanding activities of Near East University in the fields of education, culture and arts and the initiatives it has taken, said "We continue to work with all our strength to increase our contribution to the social life and economy of our country." Expressing that correct communication is of vital importance for institutions as well as for people today, Vice-Rector of Near East University Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ said that in line with this view, Near East University has undertaken a new restructure and the Press and Public Relations Directorate was established.

Who is Özer Turan?
