Cyprus Car Museum impressed the new students of Near East University from many countries of the world

Many students who come from many countries of the world and start higher education in Northern Cyprus continue to explore the campus and the country. With the event held in cooperation with the Near East University Dean of Students and Joint Courses Coordination Office, new students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nursing visited the Cyprus Car Museum and had a tour which impressed them. During the trip, more than 100 students examined the classic cars exhibited in the Cyprus Car Museum, which has one of the richest collections in the world.

Classic and sports cars became the center of attention
New students of the Pharmacy and Nursing faculties of Near East University had the opportunity to see the rich automobile collection of the Cyprus Car Museum, as well as toys made from various machine parts, a model car collection and pedal cars. Students had fun times visiting Batman and Transformers figures, ship models and many other works.

The students took lots of photos with nearly 200 classic and sports cars exhibited in the museum, and were also closely interested in the hyperrealistic silicone statues of two legendary Formula 1 pilots, German Michael Schumacher and Brazilian Ayrton Senna. One of the cars in the center of attention was the 120-year-old 1903 Model Crestmobil.

Students shared their impressions: “I was very impressed that such old vehicles are still in such good condition.”
Students who visited the Cyprus Car Museum also shared their impressions after the trip. While Nathan C. Enemiu stated that he was most attracted to sports cars, he also said that he found the trip useful for socializing with his friends. “I was very impressed that such old vehicles are still in such good condition,” Enemiu said, and added; “Visiting museums is as beneficial as being in class.”

Stating that he found the museum trip very useful, Hannan Hussein said, “It was a very friendly trip and it was very nice.” Her friend Ruth Kapend stated that it was her first time at the museum and she was very impressed. Explaining that she was impressed by many objects in the museum, Elahe Esfandiari took photographs and stated that she was most impressed by the classic cars during her fun trip.
