Cooperation Protocol was Signed between the Near East University and Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent

The "Voluntary Blood Donor Recruitment Program" protocol was signed between the Near University and the Turkish Red Crescent of Northern Cyprus.

The protocol sets terms regarding the general and basic principles of the activities to be carried out under the "Voluntary Blood Donor Recruitment Program".

Near East University Board of Trustees Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irfan S. Günsel, NEU vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent Chairman Ahmet Ulubay, Turkish Red Crescent Representative Gamze Erestin, Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent Secretary the General Kemal Buba, Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent General Coordinator Begüm Karpazlı, and the Chairman Secretary Şerife Tutku attended the protocol signing ceremony.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irfan S. Günsel: ""The coexistence of the two institutions having the consciousness that we are on the same ship will add more power to the light of our future"

In his remarks, NEU Board of Trustees Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irfan S. Günel expressed his feelings regarding the protocol: "We are in the excitement of having signed such a nice cooperation protocol. We are willing to do everything that we can do or even more for the Turkish Red Crescent of Northern Cyprus which is in a continuous effort to enliven our lives. We think that the coexistence of the two institutions having the consciousness that we are on the same ship will add more power and brightness to the light of our future. I wish this protocol will be beneficial both to our country and to our people”.

Ahmet Ulubay: "The Cooperation of Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent and the Near East University will play a very crucial role in meeting the need for blood in our country"

Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent Chairman Ahmet Ulubay also shared his feelings and views. "As the Northern Cyprus Turkish Crescent, we also feel the excitement and great happiness of realizing such a significant event here. Northern Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent has been continuously in collaboration and sharing information with the Near East University since the first day that we took the first step towards meeting the need of blood in our country. In the wake of these efforts, we have concluded that the cooperation between the Near East University and Turkish Red Crescent of Northern Cyprus will play a very crucial role in meeting the need for blood in our country. With this in mind, we have signed a cooperation protocol to organize our work together. We feel the excitement to work cooperatively to meet the need of blood for people that need it to survive. Thank you for helping us once again, thanks on behalf of all members of the Board and community of Turkish Red Crescent of Northern Cyprus".
