TS EN ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System Standard: Application and Practices

Near East University hosts the second scientist at the conference series on “100 Reasons to make science” which provide platform for academicians with high-index over 50 to share their knowledge and experiences relevant to their scientific studies.

According to the press info released by Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Prof. Dr. Arif Hepbaşlı, who has conducted numerous international and national studies on energy systems, will share his views with a presentation on “TS EN ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System Standard: Application and Practices” on 16th October, 2017.

It was stated that the presentation on TS EN ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System Standard: Application and Practices would be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 12:30 at Near East University Hospital Hall 101.

Who is Prof. Dr. Arif Hepbaşlı?

He was born in Izmir, 1958. In his 36 years of career life, he worked for 10 years in various industrial facilities and since 1996 he has been working at various universities. He is co-author/author of more than 645 articles; more than 295 of these are SCI indexed. Prof. Dr. Arif Hepbaşlı is a member of international consultative committee for the publication of 7 journals and is also co-editor at an international journal.

Furthermore, he peer reviews many national and international journals and projects on energy. He is also one of the Turkish experts of HORIZON 2020 Energy Programme and is a member of Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Energy Working Group.
