The 3rd Near East Gymnastics Festival, held at the RA 25 Sports Hall and hosting 365 athletes from 36 clubs across Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, featured unforgettable moments over two days.
The Near East University campus hosted one of the most important gymnastics gatherings. This year’s third Near East Gymnastics Festival, held at the RA 25 Sports Hall, combined the dynamism of the sport, the impressive performances of young talents, and the enthusiasm of the spectators filling the stands, featured unforgettable moments.
Sponsored by Near East Bank and hosted by Near East University, the event attracted significant participation. Hosting 24 clubs from Turkey and 12 from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the festival brought together a total of 36 clubs and 365 athletes under one roof. The event, featuring athletes from various age categories, stood out as a major organization where the unifying power of sport and competition was highlighted.
Throughout the festival, gymnasts took to the stage, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience for their performances that combined balance, flexibility, strength, and aesthetics. The athletes not only showcased their individual talents but also successfully represented their clubs by demonstrating team spirit. Families and sports fans in the stands contributed significantly to the atmosphere of the event with their energy and support.
