The Vocational School Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services and the Social Research and Development Center affiliated with the Center of Excellence of Near East University, attended the New Year's Ball organized by the Famagusta Special Education Center.

According to the information provided by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, the Head of the Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services Dr. Yeşim Üstün Aksoy, Head of the Center for Social Research and Development Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay and Prof.Dr. Dr. Fahriye Altınay participated together in the event held at the Special Education Center for children with special needs and put on make-up and did cosmetic applications such as face painting, hair knitting.

Dr. Yeşim Aksoy stating that it is a duty to involve disabled individuals in every process and area of life, to support them, to perform the services they need in a fast and effective way and to facilitate their lives, emphasized that they are happy to participate in such a social responsibility project.
