The studies prepared in cooperation with the Near East University and Sharjah University at the international conference titled Developments in Science and Engineering Technology organized by Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai will also be published in prestigious international journals affiliated with the Scopus index.

Near East University was represented with 10 different presentations in the “Advances in Sciences and Engineering Technology – ASET 2023” conference series organized for the fifth time this year by Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Near East University Health Operations Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilber Uzun Özşahin was also the chairman of the conference series, and many topics were discussed in the presented studies. The presented studies will also be published in prestigious international journals affiliated with the Scopus index.

The scientific studies presented at the conference include the results of multidisciplinary studies carried out in the fields of health and engineering by making use of multi-criteria decision-making and artificial intelligence applications.

Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ: “While we represent our country at international congresses, we share the results of our scientific studies with the scientific world for the benefit of humanity.”
Reminding that Near East University has made scientific cooperations with many universities and institutions from different countries of the world, Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ reminded that Sharjah University from the United Arab Emirates is one of the universities they cooperate with. Stating that the two universities are working on many scientific projects and research by forming joint research groups, Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ said, “At the ASET 2023 congress organized by Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, we shared the scientific outputs of the studies we carried out in cooperation with the University of Sharjah with the scientific world.”

Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ said, “As one of the most important science centers in the world, while we continue to bring the scientific world together with the international congresses we organize, we represent our country in international congresses held in different countries. Thus, we share the results of our scientific studies with the scientific world for the benefit of humanity.”

Near East University Health Operations Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilber Uzun Özşahin also stated that they carry out important studies combining the fields of engineering and health with the University of Sharjah, with which they signed a scientific cooperation protocol, and said, “We shared these studies, in which Near East University researchers made important contributions, with the scientific world at the ASET 2023 congress organized by Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai. The studies we have presented will also be published in prestigious international journals affiliated with the Scopus index.”

Stating that they conducted a series of meetings during the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilber Uzun Özşahin said, “As Near East University, we have developed academic cooperations with the Higher College of Technology in Dubai and consulted on organizing joint projects and conferences, and we have taken the first steps.”
