Artist Alexey Utkin painted the Kyrenia Marina, one of the most important tourism spots of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and the Nicosia Palace Courtyard for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.

According to the information provided by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, the artist Alexey Utkin stated that the coronavirus spreading around the world has been erased from the TRNC, however, in these days we should continue to take our precautions personally. Underlining that we need to struggle as humanity to build a better world, artist Utkin said, we must hold on to the values we have more firmly.

In the statement made by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, it was reported that the works created by the artists will continue to be shared during the corona days.

Who is Alexey Utkin?
He was born in Kazakhstan in 1949. He graduated from Almaty State Theater and Art Institute in 1985. He has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1999. Utkin is the President of the "Association of the Deaf Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and is the winner of the Eurasia International Gold Award. In 2011, he received a medal for the competitive work of the members of the Association of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2013, he was presented a medal by the Ministry of Culture and Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
