Applications for the “Intern Researcher Program” started by the Near East Institute can be made until March 26

Near East University Near East Institute announced that the applications for the "2021-Intern Researcher Program" initiated for undergraduate and graduate students will be accepted until March 26.

The program, in which students continuing their undergraduate (3rd and 4th year) and graduate studies at departments such as International Relations, International Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Media and Communication will be included, will start in April 2021. The program, in which accepted students will be guided according to their areas of expertise, will continue until June 2021.


Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıraklı: "We will provide our students with an internship environment in which they will gain professional work experience and awareness in the think tank infrastructure."
Founded in 2013, the Near East Institute has the mission of raising scientific awareness on foreign policy and security issues through strategic reports and academic activities. Institute Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıraklı says that they are working to produce alternative policies through research, evaluation and analysis of policy processes. Assist. Prof. Dr. Çıraklı said, “We aim to provide our students with an internship environment in which they will gain professional experience and awareness in the think tank infrastructure. Thus, they will have the opportunity to transform the theoretical knowledge they have acquired into practice.”

According to the statement made by the Near East Institute, candidates who will participate in the "Intern Researcher Program" will be able to submit their applications by sending their resumes via e-mail to [email protected] until March 26.
