Applications continue for Near East University’s award-winning photography contest “Life on Campus”

Applications continue for the “Life on Campus” photography contest organized in cooperation with Near East University and the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. The competition, organized with the themes of “Human and Life”, “Natural Life”, “Art”, “Environment and Architectural Structures”, is open to everyone’s participation. Owners of works that will be ranked by jury evaluation will be entitled to receive a “Certificate of Achievement” as well as various awards.

In the jury of the photography competition, which is open to the participation of all professional and amateur photographers, Head of Near East Enterprises Museums Department, Prof. Dr. Ali Efdal Özkul, Dean of Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç, Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Vice Dean and Advisor to the Rector Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün, Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Head of Graphic Design Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Okur and photographers Mehmet Gökyiğit, Gazi Yüksel and Buket Özatay take place.

The works selected in the award-winning competition will also be presented to art lovers.

The winner as a result of the jury evaluation will win a night’s accommodation for two at Mimoza Hotel. The second place winner of the competition will receive a two-month membership from the Near East University Sports Tower, and the third place winner will receive the right to Standard Panel Check-up at the Near East University Hospital. In addition, those who will be awarded the “Award of Achievement” will be given a certificate of achievement. The works that deserve to be exhibited after the jury’s evaluation will meet art lovers with an exhibition to be organized by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts in April.

The application deadline is March 29!

Each participant will be able to apply with 5 works to the “Life on Campus” themed photography contest organized in cooperation with Near East University and Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. Participants will be able to apply for the competition by sending their works, which must be 35×50 centimeters in size and 300 dpi resolution, along with the application form, to [email protected] until March 29, 2024.
