Application process for the undergraduate, master’s degree and PhD programs offered by the Department of Music Teaching of the Fine Arts Section of Atatürk Faculty of Education of Near East University is ongoing

Aiming to accommodate the demands of the candidates in pursuit of their advanced academic and professional careers, the Department of Music Teaching of Atatürk Faculty of Education of Near East University offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree programs that approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK).

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the Department of Music Teaching will accept 40 undergraduate, 15 master's degree and 5 PhD students to these programs for the academic year of 2020-2021. The application process for registration to the special talent exam is ongoing.

An online examination will be held for students with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) citizenship on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 and on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 10:00. The exam link and the exam time will be sent to the applicants’` mail addresses provided.
A face-to-face exam will also be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10:00 at the Department of Music Teaching Orchestra and Mioy Class at the entrance of the Atatürk Faculty of Education building.

TRNC citizen students in TRNC can contact Near East University Registrar`s Office by calling 0392 680 20 00 extension numbers 5501/5101. They can also complete their pre-registration by sending a mail to

School that completed/ city of school
Telephone Number
e-mail address

*Additionally, applicants must indicate whether they would like to take the exam online or face to face.

The exam content, the time and link of the exam to be held online will be sent to the students via mail.

* The students who will pass the exam will be notified about their exam results via mail on Monday, July 6, 2020.
