Aiming to accommodate the demands of the candidates in pursuit of their advanced academic and professional careers, the Department of Music Teaching of Atatürk Faculty of Education of Near East University offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree programs that approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK).
According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the Department of Music Teaching will accept 40 undergraduate, 15 master’s degree and 5 PhD students to these programs for the academic year of 2020-2021. The application process for registration to the special talent exam is ongoing.
An online examination will be held for students with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) citizenship on 24 August 2020 and 25 August 2020 at 10:00. The exam link and the exam time will be sent to the applicants’` mail addresses provided.
A face-to-face exam will also be held on Friday, August 26, 2020 at 10:00 at the Department of Music Teaching Orchestra and Mioy Class at the entrance of the Atatürk Faculty of Education building.
Applications to exam will be accepted between 29 July – 21 August 2020.
Undergraduate Exam Content:

- Tonal – melody repetition
- The song prepared by the student
- Singing the National Anthem
- Student’s instrument performance
- Interview.
Master Exam Content:

- Text analysis
