An Exhibition to exhibit the Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education students’ projects has been realised

Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Pre-School Teaching, students have done projects as part of their Portfolio Preparation for the Pre-school period Course, and Graphics and Animation Course. Their projects have been initially exhibited at the Fine Arts Exhibition Hall of the NEU Education Palace, then at the NEU Pre-School building to enable pre-school teachers and students the chance to examine the projects closely.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relatiosn of Near East University, the exhibition was opened by Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Uzunboylu; Head of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aşkın Kiraz; Head of Department Dr. Ezgi Gömeçli Ulu; Assis. Prof. Dr. Engin Baysen; Academic Member Şebnem Güldal Kan; and Teachers in charge of the courses Specialists Dervişe Amca Toklu and Yücehan Yücesoy.

Making an opening speech, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Uzunboylu stated that the Portfolio Preparation for the Pre-School Period Course, and Graphic and Animation Course were two significant courses within the education program of raising pre-school teachers. He added that they were always ready to support teachers to be regarding carrying out applications. Furthermore, he stated that technology enhanced education was another significant aspect of pre-school teaching and learning and in this regard, they as the Atatürk Faculty of Education, they aimed to raise teachers who follow up on latest technologies to be used in education so as to provide quality and creativity in education.

It was pointed out that the exhibition was organised by Department of Pre-School Teaching Specialists Dervişe Amca Toklu and Uz. Yücehan Yücesoy; and the pieces exhibited at the exhibition were highly liked. Moreover, it was stated that while the exhibition was exhibited especially for the Pre-School Teachers and students, they had found the chance to examine closely the projects done by the Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education students.

In addition to the above, it was stated that the exhibition included basic topics, colours, shapes, sensory organs, vehicles, dimensions, special days, puppets and free works all of which were prepared in accordance with the age and development of pre-school children. Furthermore, the visitors of the exhibition made remarks regarding what they had observed at the exhibition and stated that there was a lot of creativity included, alongside teaching through animation, teaching concepts through animation, and raising awareness of children on various issues related to that age group.
