An Exhibition on “Cyprus in Movie Posters” has been opened at the 3rd Turkic World Documentary Film Festival

It was announced that a Cyprus in Movie Posters Exhibition has been opened at the Turkic World Documentary Film Festival, which is organised by the Federation of the Turkic World Journalists and the Curator is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap, Head of Department of Radio, TV and Cinema of Faculty of Communication of Near East University

According to the press info release issued by the Director of the Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the exhibition titled as “Cyprus in Movie Posters” that involves movie posters about either films about Cyprus or local and international films which have been shot in Cyprus and the exhibition is being displayed at the Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilsel Conference Hall in Istanbul University.

It was pointed out that the exhibition was opened by Head of Federation of the Turkic World Journalists, Menderes Demir; Director of Turkic World Documentary Film Festival, Okay Karacan; Cultural Counsellor of Azerbaijan Baku İrfan Çiftçi; NTV International News Chair Ahmet Yeşiltepe; and the influential director of Turkmenistan Hocakulu Narliyev

In addition to the above, it was stated that the festival was brought to life with a slogan as “8 Countries, 8 Cities and 1 Festival” and the Head of Department of Radio, TV and Cinema of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap has been appointed as the curator of the exhibition titled as “Cyprus in Movie Posters”.

The Turkic World Documentary Film Festival will be screened in our country in November…
The screening of the Turkic World Film Festivalwill be continuing in countries who are project partners and in this regard, the screening of the Turkic World Documentary Film Festival will be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on 4-11 November, 2018; and Near East University will be hosting the event.
