Near East University, which was listed among the “Top 5 Turkish Universities” in 7 fields in Times Higher Education’s “2025 World University Field Rankings”, became the Turkish foundation university with the most fields on the list.
Times Higher Education, one of the most followed higher education rating institutions in the world, based in London, announced the “2025 World University Field Rankings”. Near East University, which entered the world rankings in 7 main headings, became the Turkish university with the most fields on the list among foundation universities, together with Koç University.
Near East University, which is among the best universities in the world in the fields of “Physical Sciences”, “Computer Sciences”, “Engineering”, “Life Sciences”, “Educational Studies”, “Medicine and Health” and “Social Sciences”, was among the “Top 5 Turkish Universities” in all of these fields. In the fields of “Physical Sciences” and “Computer Sciences”, it achieved great success by being the “Best Turkish University” in Northern Cyprus, Turkey and the Turkic Republics.
Near East University, which is among the top 250 universities in the world in “Physical Sciences”, also ranked among the top 300 universities in the world in the field of “Computer Sciences”. Also shown as the “best university” among Turkish universities in this field, Near East University shared this title with ITU and METU. Near East University, which also holds the title of “Best Turkish University” in “Physical Sciences”, was ensued by EMU, Koç University, METU and Sabancı University.
Near East University is also among the top 400 universities in the world in the fields of “Engineering” and “Educational Studies”; It ranked 501-600 in the field of “Social Sciences”, 601-800 in the field of “Life Sciences” and 801-1000 in the field of “Medicine and Health”.
