According to Times Higher Education, Near East University is among the top 10 most influential universities in the world in the categories of “Quality of Education” and “Sustainable Cities and Societies”!

Near East University ranked 6th in the world in “Quality of Education” in the “2024 World University Impact Rankings” updated by Times Higher Education. NEU ranked 8th in the world in the “Sustainable Cities and Societies” category, which ranks universities that contribute the most to their region, society and the world with their pioneering work and studies in the development of art and social heritage.

With the re-assessment of the results of the “2024 World University Impact Rankings” announced by Times Higher Education in June, Near East University moved up a band among the world’s most influential universities and settled in the 201-300 band. In the updated rankings today, Near East University, which is among the top 300 most influential universities in the world, was also ranked fourth in Turkey as the most influential university in Northern Cyprus.

The “2024 World University Impact Rankings” published by Times Higher Education, one of the most important rating organizations followed in the field of higher education in the world, assesses the contributions of world universities to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Near East University ranks sixth in the world in terms of education quality!

Near East University was listed among the top 10 most effective universities in the world in two categories in the ranking where Times Higher Education assessed the universities of 125 countries. It also ranked among the top 50 most effective universities in the world in four categories.

Near East University, which ranks 6th in the world in terms of education quality, also became the 8th most effective university in the world in the “Sustainable Cities and Societies” category, which lists universities that contribute the most to their region, society and the world with their pioneering work in the development of art and social heritage. It ranked 45th in the “Partnerships for the Goals” category and became the 46th most effective university in the world in the “Gender Equality” category. In the “Health and Well-being” category, it was ranked in the top 200 worldwide.
