Academicians, students and GÜNSEL employees commemorated the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk at the ceremony held in front of the Atatürk Monument on the Near East University Campus

Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was commemorated with a ceremony held in front of the Atatürk Monument on the Near East University campus on the 84th anniversary of his pass to eternity. Near East University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, Near East University faculty members, students, employees and GÜNSEL employees attended the ceremony.

In the ceremony, which took place with intense participation, when the clocks showed 9.05 which is the time Mustafa Kemal Atatürk passed away for eternity, a moment of silence was realized, while the flags on the Near East University Campus were lowered to half-mast.

Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ: “On the road paved by our great leader Atatürk, we walk by producing science, art and technology.”
In his written statement, Near East University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Tame Şanlıdağ stated that they commemorate the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with feelings of love, gratitude and mercy on the 84th anniversary of his death, and emphasized that Atatürk was a great leader who changed the fate not only of Anatolia but also of the world. Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ said, “As Near East University, while working to raise a youth worthy of him, we walk on the path opened by our great leader Atatürk by producing science, art, and technology .”
