Academic Members of Near East University Peer-Reviewed a Journal which holds a significant place in the field of Turcology: International Journal of Uyghur Studies

Academic Members of Near East University Assoc Prof Dr. Mustafa Yeniasır and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Gökbulut, peer-reviewed the International Journal of Uyghur Studies; which publishes scientific papers in various countries and different disciplines in the fields of Uyghur studies to provide knowledge flow by making these studies accessible in the international criteria and thus, to contribute to the development of Turcology.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the International Journal is published twice a year, in June and in December, prepared by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. The Journal is scanned by international databases and indexes such as Arastirmax, Erıhplus, Asos, Info Base Index, MIAR, Sparch Indexing, MLA, I2OR, Türk Eğitim İndeksi, Ideal Online and Sobiad.

Additionally, it was stated that the International Journal of Uyghur Studies fulfilled a very important function in order to reveal the cultural richness of the Uyghur Turks in scientific criteria and to publicize the scientific studies on the Uyghurs at an international level. Furthermore, scientific articles, compilations, book introductions and transfers related to other Turkish tribes such as Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Uzbek are also published. Shortly after the publication of the journal, it is sent to the libraries and international index institutions determined by the editorial board.
