Academic Member of the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Erdoğan Ergün, realised an Artistic Workshop at the METU MarchFest Culture and Art Festival

Vice Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün, was invited to the Culture and Art Festival titled as MarchFest on Middle East Technical University (METU) Northern Cyprus Campus, where he realised a workshop with the participation of 30 students.

Alongside the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün also realised an individual workshop
According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, initially Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün gave a seminar on Stencil Graffiti technique, he realised the workshop where the he worked on pieces with the students which were closely followed by the attenders. Then, he realised an individual workshop as well.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün: “It is highly significant for students to interact with each other and find a chance to be with art which is a means of expressing creativity and imagination!”
Making a statement regarding the matter, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün stated that organising events on campuses that relate to art provide the students the chance to interact with one another and the chance to express themselves via art as this is a means of expressing creativity and imagination. These events are also important in sharing adding to culture. He ended his words by thanking everyone involved in organising the art festival at the METU campus, especially the authorities and the person in charge of the art workshop and instructor Serhat Selışık.
