Faculty of Communication of Near East University hosted an international event. Through cooperation with Collage Cyprus Forum, the 2nd Short Film was shown regarding providing a reputable life for and the right for education for women. The scenario was both written and the film titled as “La”, was directed by Elif Nur Kerkük. The second short film titled as “Mercy’s Blessing” was shown; a short film directed and the scenario was written by May Taherzadeh.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, a high number of students and academic members of the Departments functioning under the body of Faculty of Communication of Near East University (Dept of Visual Communication and Design; Dept of Public Relations and Advertising; Dept of Radio-Television and Cinema; Dept of Journalism; Dept of Filmmaking and Broadcasting) participated in the event.
