It was announced that Head of Department of Hair Care and Beauty, Vocational School of Near East University, Assist Prof Dr Yeşim Üstün Aksoy gave a seminar to residents of the SOS Youth Home and SOS Children’s Village on personal hygiene. It included information on hand hygiene, mouth hygiene, nail care, foot hygiene, hair hygiene, personal hygiene rules, and possible contagious diseases in water and food items.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Assist Prof Dr Yeşim Üstün Aksoy informed the young people and children on how to develop their personal self-care skills.

Awareness on Personal Cleaning and Hygiene was raised…
It was stated that Assist Prof Dr Yeşim Üstün Aksoy said that children gained awareness by referring to personal hygiene, which is the practice of self-care that people maintain and maintain their own health, and cleaning rules in public living areas. Furthermore, she expressed pride in being involved in such a social responsibility project. She kindly thanked Refika Ince and Director Ahmet Akarsu, the national director of the SOS Children's Village Association, for enabling this to be realised.
