A Joint Cooperation Protocol has been signed between Near East University and Italian MAGI Group

A joint cooperation protocol, regarding providing joint academic programs on education and science, has been signed between Near East University and Italian MAGI Group- which is concerned with research and diagnosis of rare genetic diseases.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the Joint Cooperation Protocol has been signed by Vice Rector of Near East University and Head of NEU Experimental Health Sciences Centre (DESAM) Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Director of Italian MAGI Group Centre of Research and Diagnosis of Rare Genetic Diseases, Dr. Matteo Bertelli.

It was pointed out that the joint cooperation protocol signed between Near East University and MAGI Group was based on conducting joint academic programs regarding science and education; working on joint scientific projects and publications; providing student and academic member exchange programs ; organising joint conferences, seminars and events alike. Furthermore, it was stated that within the frame of this protocol, Near East University students will be provided the chance to get internship at the research centres and clinics of MAGI Group in San Felice del Benaco, in Italy.


Joint research studies, Education and Internship Programs will be run between the two institutions…
Through this protocol, many joint projects and programs will be run between the two institutions through the research centres; and the educational and training programs available at both institutions. Furthermore, there will be cooperation to improve the quality of the education and training offered in both institutions so as to reach and improve international standards in relative fields. Moreover, research studies, projects, scientific publications, congresses, conferences, symposiums will be held. In fact, these will provide the opportunity to invite spokespersons to and from both institutions, besides providing professional development educational programs.
