As part of 8th March International Women’s Day, Near East University Faculty of Communication held a film projection event where a film titled as “Yağmurlarda Yıkansam” was shown.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the event was held in Orange Hall in the Faculty of Communication building to which NEU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ; Dean of Faculty of Communication Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci; Head of Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Assoc. Dr. Fevzi Kasap, academic members, students and guests attended.

The opening speech of the exhibition was done by Head of Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap. It was also pointed out that the Director of the film was Gülten Taranç and actors Derin İnce and Murat Ergür.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasap expressed the event was held in cooperation with Kyrenia St Hillarion Rotary Club and as part of the 8th March International Women’s Day. Subsequent to the talks, Vice Rector of Near East University Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ presented certificate of appreciation and various gifts to Director Gülten Taranç, actors Derin İnce and Murat Ergür.

It was revealed that a workshop was also held for the students of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.
