4 solo exhibitions consisting of92 artworks it total exclusively made for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by Tatar artists Viktoria Egorova, Vitalii Petrov, Rustam Gabbasov and Kazakh artist Akhmetzhan Akhatbakiyev, and a group exhibition consisting of 31 artworks of Kazakh artists Zhailaubay Baisalov, Fatima Moldabayeva, Khashimjan Kurbanov, Nina Terechshenko and Bakhtygali Bakhtyek will be opened by Economy and Energy Minister Hasan Taçoy.

According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of the Near East University, the opening ceremony of the exhibitions will be held at the Near East University Hospital Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, November 05, 2019.

Kazakh artists depict love, nature, Kazakh folk tales, improvised ornaments and iconic studies in their artworks. In the works of the Kazakh artist Nina Tereshchenko, sensuality is at the forefront. There is an emotional explosion in the artist's work that requires full creative influence. The themes of her work focus on a bouquet of flowers opened under the full moon. According to the artist, there is nothing better in the world than flowers and women. She tries to reflect the themes of love, tenderness, and motherhood in almost all of her works.

Artist Zhailaubay Baisalov says that he is inspired by everything he sees. The steppes inhabited by nomadic ancestors, the life, human faces, soil and nature of the modern city of Baikonur are depicted in the works of the artist.

Khashimzhan Kurbanov's works depict the present and the past. In the works of the artist, the past, traditional way of life and folk professions are preserved and eternal traditions are revived by repeating signs of recognizable life.

Akhmetzhan Akhatbakiev represents the visual and applied art of Uighur people in his works.

Fatima Moldabekova's works consist of a series dedicated to Kazakh folk tales.

Bakhytgali Bakhytbek's works depict improvised ornamental and iconic compositions reflecting the artist's process of communication with nature.

Who is Yegorova Viktoriya?
He was born on 27 May 1985 in Menzelinsk, Republic of Tatarstan. In 2007, she graduated from the Graphic Arts Faculty of the Yarçallı State Pedagogical Institute. Since 2012 she has been a member of the Russian Artists 'Union and the UNESCO Artists' Union. Since 2014 she has been a member of Tatarstan Artists Association. She is a participant of international, All-Russian, regional, inter-regional, republican and urban exhibitions and projects. Her works take place in private collections and museums in Russia, Turkey, Jordan, Bulgaria, Germany, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Serbia. He won the New Names-2008 ve and 2012 Artist of the Year awards in the regional competitions. In 2015, she was presented an honorary diploma by the Culture Department of the Executive Committee of Yarçallı for her personal contributions to creative work and the development of fine arts. He was born in the village of Algazinothe Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic on September 17, 1936. He graduated from the Şupaşkar (Shupashkar) Fine Arts College and Muhina V. İ. Leningrad College of Art and Industry (Stieglitz A. Petersburg Academy of Arts and Industry). He is a monumental and decorative artist, People's Artist of the Chuvash Republic, Honor Artist of the Russian Federation and professor. He is an academician of the National Academy of Sciences and Arts. Nominated for international awards (Hungary, Spain, Russia). He held solo exhibitions in Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, and Paris. He participated in various symposiums and exhibitions in countries such as Spain, Turkey, the USA, Germany, Japan, and Hungary. He was nominated for the State Prize of the Chuvash Republic. His works take place in museums and private collections in various countries.

Who is Rustam Gabbasov?
He graduated from Republic Art School. He then studied at the Graphic Arts Faculty of the Tagil Pedagogical Institute. In 1986, he graduated from the Faculty of Monumental Sculpture of Muhina Leningrad College of Art and Industry. Since 1996, he has been a member of the Russian Artists' Association. Between 1984 and 2004, he worked as an instructor at Kungur College of Art. From 2004 to 2018, he worked as a teacher at the Design Faculty of Kazan National Research Technology University. He participated in regional, local, inter-regional, national and international exhibitions. He participates in festivals and symposiums with his painting and sculpture works.

Who is Akhmetzhan Akhabakiyev?
Akhmetzhan Akhabakiyev, one of the most successful artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was born on April 04, 1954, in Gulca. In 1974, he graduated from the Art and Graphic Department of Abhay Pedagogical Institute in Almaty. Since 1988, he has been a member of the Association of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was nominated for an Inspiration Award. He is the participant and winner of the Asian Art exhibition in Tashkent. He was awarded many medals. He works in the fields of painting, graphic arts, arts and crafts (cross-stitch), photography and video art. In 1990, he completed his master's degree at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He participated in various symposiums and exhibitions in many countries, among them are Turkey(Ankara - 1993), Italy (Genoa - 1997) and the United States (Washington - 1998). His works take place in private collections and museums in Almaty city, Kasteyev State Art Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Moscow, Ministry of Culture, the Art Exhibitions Directorate and the Oriental Art Museum located in the city of Astana in Kazakhstan, President Nursultan Nazarbayev's residence in Germany, Italy, Turkey, the USA, and China.
