Visitors from various parts of the society continue to visit the exhibition themed “Dr. Fazıl Küçük and National Struggle”, which was organized in memory of the 35th death anniversary of the Turkish Cypriot Leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük. Having been organized by the Cyprus Turkish National History Museum that carries out activities under the umbrella of the Near East University Education Foundation, the exhibition features 165 natural artworks created by 92 talented artists of our country. These distinguished artworks depict the Turkish Cypriot people’s struggle for existence and freedom and portrait the Turkish Cypriot Leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük, who devoted his life for his people.

The Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University released that Gönyeli Fazıl Plümer Nursery School Students along with their teachers and school principal visited the exhibition at the Cyprus Art Center that located in Atatürk Culture and Congress Center (AKKKM).

Highlighting that Dr. Fazıl Küçük was a great leader, who devoted his life for the Turkish Cypriot people's existence and freedom, Gönyeli Fazıl Plümer Nursery School Principal Canan Gürkan stated that they were very affected by the exhibition adding that it was very significant trip for the students. "The exhibition presents an environment where Turkish Cypriot people's struggle for existence and freedom comes alive. Upon the suggestion of the fellow teachers, we have organized this visit in order to provide our students with opportunity to get to know Dr. Fazıl Küçük and his crucial role in our struggle for existence and freedom. It is our mission to go after the objectives set by our leaders and to raise students, who adopt these objectives as their essence. Our teachers, who adopt his ideas and follow in his footsteps, realize firsts required for raising well-rounded children. Our children were very excited today. I firmly believe that Near East University will always continue to realize such significant achievements.
