The museum, which draws attention with its rich collection, provided children with an educational and enjoyable experience, providing them with the opportunity to witness the history of Cyprus up close.

The students, who toured the museum accompanied by the vice principal and class teachers, had fun hours examining the exhibited works. During the visit, which was carried out within the scope of the “Let’s Visit and See” section of the Turkish language course, the children, who examined the collections in the museum with curious eyes, were amazed by the cultural richness that Cyprus has carried from the past to the present.

They examined the car collection with admiration!

Designed as a cultural center that brings together the historical texture of Cyprus and Nicosia with art, the Walled City Museum stands out with its living museum concept. The museum aims to enrich its collections at regular intervals and present new works to its visitors every time. The museum reflects every period of Cyprus from Venice to Byzantium, from the Ottoman Empire to the present day with its unique ceiling paintings, while taking its visitors on a journey full of history and culture with the collections it exhibits.

One of the sections that attracted the most attention of the students was the toy car collection consisting of more than three thousand pieces. In addition, Ottoman artworks such as sword and knife samples, more than 100 sculptures, paintings, objects related to maritime history, Karagöz portraits, certificates, decrees, kadi records belonging to Nicosia and carpets from the 17th century, which are in the museum inventory, were examined with interest by the students.
