Near East University is organizing a  symposium on “Occupational Health and Safety”  which are among the most important issues of working life.

According to the press information given by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate,  the Symposium which will be held in cooperation with the Institute of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, and the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety, will take place on 20-21 May 2019 at the Hall 2 of İrfan Günsel Congress Centre.

The Minister of Labor and Social Security Zeki Çeler will participate in the opening ceremony of the symposium along with the experts from abroad and our country. Besides occupational safety issues, work hygiene and occupational health issues will also be discussed.

Along with the presentations on ”Risk Management in Occupational Health and Safety”, “Occupational Hygiene and Health Control in Work Places”, and “Present Situation in TRNC ISG Regulations”, a panel will also be held on “Occupational Medicine”.

In the symposium where examples of practices on Occupational Health and Safety in our country will be given, a course on “Keeping Records Regarding Occupational Health and Safety at Workplaces” will also be organized for the workplace representatives.
