207 works of artist Aygenç to be exhibited in three groups titled “Love is on the wings of bird”, “My name is Red”, and “Old Time Cyprus Figures”…
In the exhibition titled “Love is on the wings of bird”, the bird figure was mainly used, and the works were mostly prepared with the lavi and watercolor technique. The harsh, dynamic and aggressive and tense structure of Crow and the contrasting contents of the other calm figures were transferred to the picture together. The idea of ‘flying’ freely and reaching the yearning was the common theme of these group paintings. In his group of works titled “My name is Red” he emphasized that the color of red balances a large mass, highlighted its effective stance, and the tensions within the figures reflecting the pictorial approach stand out. In the works titled “Old Time Cyprus Figures”, the figures that have survived from the civilizations of Cyprus and are a part of the culture of Cyprus were reinterpreted in the artist’s own language and transferred to the canvas.
