The “Habitat Fine Arts Exhibition”, to be opened by the Minister of National Education, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, will meet art lovers on Thursday, April 30th, at the GÜNSEL Art Museum Exhibition Hall.
Prepared exclusively by academic artists from the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and artists from the Cyprus Modern Art Museum, the “Habitat Fine Arts Exhibition” will be opened by Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 30th, at the GÜNSEL Art Museum Exhibition Hall.
“Habitat”, which is the 482nd exhibition of the Cyprus Modern Art Museum, will bring together works from various disciplines, offering art viewers a rich visual experience.
The group exhibition, consisting of painting, sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking, can be visited free of charge every weekday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM until May 26th. The exhibition is curated by Prof. Erdoğan Ergün, Rector’s Advisor at Near East University and Director of the GÜNSEL Art Museum.

Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün stated that the “Habitat” exhibition brings together different disciplines, making visible the multifaceted relationship between art and living spaces. Emphasizing that art is not only an aesthetic production but also a powerful dialogue with the environment, space, and human experience, Prof. Dr. Ergün said, “Each artwork in this exhibition generates new meanings through its ‘habitat”, making the viewer a part of this interaction.” Stating that the exhibition, which brings together the original approaches of academic artists, will offer viewers different perspectives, Prof. Dr. Ergün invited all art lovers to discover this multifaceted experience at the GÜNSEL Art Museum.
