Starting at Near East Primary School in Nicosia, the program was also implemented at Near East Yeniboğaziçi Primary School and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia Primary School, providing free health screenings to over 1000 students in total.

The program, carried out in collaboration between Near East University Hospital and the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Health Sciences, and Sports Sciences of Near East University, aimed to comprehensively check the health status of primary school-aged children and instill healthy lifestyle habits at an early age. The screenings were conducted without disrupting the students’ classes; Eye and dental health checkups, posture analyses, growth and development assessments, and nutritional assessments were conducted.

As part of the program, students also received practical training on topics such as correct toothbrushing techniques, healthy eating habits, breath awareness, and body awareness. Personal health reports prepared based on all assessments were shared with parents.
