Love Songs to Resonate at Near East University!

The “International Love Songs” concert, featuring numerous choirs from Turkey and Northern Cyprus, will present a love-themed repertoire on Friday, March 27th at 8:00 PM at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center.

Near East University, ranked among the top 500 universities in the world, is preparing to host a meaningful event that will bring together the unifying power of art with voices rising from different geographies. Organized with the support of Near East Bank, in collaboration with the Turkish Music Federation (TÜMFED) and the Music Volunteers Association, the “International Love Songs” concert will take place on Friday, March 27th at 8:00 PM at the Atatürk Culture and Congress Center.

Bringing together cultural richness and musical diversity on the same stage, the concert aims to provide an unforgettable evening for the audience with the powerful interpretations of associations participating from different cities of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The evening will feature performances of selected works of traditional Turkish music, with a repertoire centered around the theme of love, offering music lovers a rich experience both emotionally and aesthetically.

Voices from different geographies will meet on the same stage!

The concert will feature performances by the Cyprus Music Volunteers Association, Vadili Culture and Art Association, Iskenderun Municipality Music Association, Kuşadası Culture and Art Association, Tire Music Friends Association, Elazığ Culture and Music Association, Zekai Bilgen Music and Culture Association, İzmir Art Music Association, İzmir Turkish Music Association, and Alimoğlu Culture and Art Association. This event, where diverse cultural textures will come together, will once again showcase the universal language of music.

The event will include Cem Kafkas, founder and conductor of the Turkish Classical Music Choir of Music Volunteers Association, while the General Artistic Directorship will be undertaken by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Altınköprü, President of the Turkish Music Federation.
