Security Forces Commander Brigadier General Tevfik Algan visited Near East University Board of Trustees Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan S. Günsel.

According to the press released from the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, Security Forces Commander Brigadier General Tevfik Algan paid a return visit to Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan Günsel, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East University. NEU Board of Trustees vice Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan and Near East Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Koldaş attended the visit as well.

Welcoming the Brigadier General Algan in his office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Günsel talked about the general situation of higher education, delivered information about the prospective studies and projects of Near East University and shared details about the developmental stages and commissioning process of Günsel brand car project.

Brigadier Algan: “Universities provides contribution to the development of the country…”
Highlighting the crucial role of universities in providing contributions to the development of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Security Forces Commander Brigadier General Tevfik Algan pointed out that Near East University was one of the universities providing significant contribution. Brigadier General Algan ended his remarks by wishing continuous success to Günsel in his works.

At the end of the visit, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan Günsel and the Security Forces Commander Brigaider General Algan mutually presented plaques to each other.
