Providing Education on Modern Art and Design, Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design is starting off the new Academic Year with great excitement

Deputy Dean of Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç, stated that they, as a faculty which has a highly competent academic staff, were ready for the new academic year with great excitement. He added that they had renewed their educational programmes and improved the conditions of the workshops; all as steps taken to prepare for the new academic year.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç made a statement and expressed that they were looking forward to the Academic Year of 2018-2019 with full excitement. Furthermore, he emphasised his belief that as the NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, they not only provided education and training in the field of fine arts and design; they also played a key role in making positive contributions to art and culture in general.

In addition to the above, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aygenç said that every new beginning was a source of excitement and that this feeling was very common in people who produce art. He said that it was rather significant to start a new academic year with the same kind of positive feelings and excitement; and for this reason, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aygenç emphasised that the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design was initiating the Academic Year of 2018-2019 dynamically; and full of determination and excitement. Furthermore, he expressed his strong belief that the students who are just joining the faculty will adapt easily and quickly; and also, be aware that as soon as they take their first steps into the field, they will be learning and improving themselves, hands-on, in their fields.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aygenç proudly asserted that Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design was a faculty which played significant roles such as providing contemporary education on fine arts and design; alongside playing a leading role in the field of art and culture. He added that they were ready for the academic year of 2018-2019 with updated educational programmes, improved workshop conditions and highly competent academic staff. He added that the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design was added to the body of Near East University in 2006 and that in time, it had taken a leading role in its field.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç expressed that NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design had a mission to educate and raise the skilled artists and designers of the future with the support and directions of the highly competent academic staff of the faculty. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç further stated that the faculty offers undergraduate, Master’s and doctorate programmes in addition to strengthening connections with the world via cultural and academic activities.
