Accreditation of Engineering Programmes both inside and outside Nigeria is a major mandate of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), in accordance with the Act setting up the Council. It is aimed at ensuring that products of engineering programmes in universities are sound, functional engineering personnel that meet the challenges of society and compete favorably with their counterparts anywhere in the world.

Further to the accreditation visit of COREN officials to the faculty of Engineering in Near East University from 25th to 30th March, 2018. The council has written an official letter to our university conveying its official approval of 13 departments available in the faculty. Our graduate students can now happily return back to Nigeria with the confidence of practicing their various fields of specialization.
