Near East Junior School gave its graduates for the academic year 2015-2016 via a graduation ceremony which included a poem performance, dance shows and a firework show. It was revealed that the graduating students were rather excited throughout the ceremony as well as the attending guests.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Koray San, who is a fifth year form teacher at the Near East Junior College made a speech, making the moment meaningful, and expressed that the school cooperated with the parents so as to assist the success and happiness of the students of the school.

Continuing his speech, Koray San further expressed that 18 of the total of 28 Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarships were achieved by the students of the Near East Junior College. Moreover, 12 of the 14 full-scholarships given by the Near East College were also achieved by the students of the school. In addition to all of the above, 48 of the 130 quota identified for the KGS Examination (which is a three-stage examination for a secondary school with English as the language of instruction) were again achieved by the students of the Near East Junior College. He particularly pointed out that those who had been successful at the KGS examination and also the Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarship preferred to study at the Near East College instead of going to another school.

Adding to the above, he stated that the highest marks achieved at the KGS Examination were by the students of the school such that; from the 3 stages of the KGS Nicosia firsts, Kyrenia 1st and 2nd were also achieved by the students of the school.
It was revealed that subsequent to the speeches made at the ceremony, the students were presented their diplomas and that the ceremony came to an end with a firework show.
