Occupational Health and Safety Trainings to continue at Near East University … “Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training” courses to begin on July 27

The “Occupational Health and Safety” trainings, which have been authorized and certified by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in accordance with the Regulations for Certification of Occupational Health and Safety Services and Authorization of Organizations, will be conducted by Near East University.

According to the information provided by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, it was stated that the 30-hour “Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training” course will start on July 27, 2020, within the scope of the occupational trainings conducted by the university. It was stated that the General Occupational Health and Safety Expertise Course, which started on 29 June and will last for a total of 180 hours, is being continued while the “Certificate Renewal Course” and “Construction Health and Safety” courses were successfully completed.

Registration to Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training courses continues…
Registration for the “Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training” course, which will start on July 27 and last for 30 hours, of which 25 hours will be based on theoretical and 5 hours will include practical applications, is continuing. Within the scope of the course, occupational health and safety basic theoretical and practical information, general principles for workplace risk assessment, risks in the workplace and prevention of risks will be given to employers having workplaces employing four or fewer workers, employers or employees assigned by the employer, as well as those who work as OHS Coordinator in construction.


Second group trainings will begin in August…
In addition to the intense and long-term specialist trainings, short-term courses specific to small businesses and construction sites are provided as well as Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training, which is necessary for key personnel in each enterprise, regardless of the field of activity.

Within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety Training courses held in small groups of up to 15 people, it is planned to start the new semester training of the Basic Education and Specialization courses, which are currently undergoing, in the second half of August.
