173 print-art pieces created by Ukrainian Artist İhor Yurchenko, titled as ‘Formula of Space’; the print art pieces of Solomiia Dorosh titled as ‘Wind from the East’; print art of Kateryna Ocheredko titled as ‘My Symbol’; artwork of Tetiana Ocheredko titled as ‘My Life’; and print art of Mykhailo Drimailo titled as ‘The Horizon’; in addition to 20 artwork and 35 pieces acrted with special techniques of Kazakh Artist Georgiy Makarov titled as ‘Dream Labyrinths’; and the 20n artwork of Tajik Artist Pairav Gulov making a total of 7 exhibitions of 248 art-pieces are to be opened at the Atatürk Culture and Congress Centre on Thursday, 12th March 2020 by Minister of Internal Affairs Ayşegül Baybars.

Five Ukrainian artists have a total of 173 artworks of print, watercolour and sketches.

Who is Ihor Yurchenko?
He was born in Ukraine on 9th June 1966. In 1993, he graduated from the Industrial Design Department of the Kharkov Institute of Arts and Industry. He is a member of the Ukrainian Designers Association and the Ukrainian National Artists Association.

He worked as a designer in the creative organization of the “Papyrus studio” in Kharkov, Ukraine during 1993-1995. He worked as a teacher at the Furniture Design Department of the Lviv State Forestry University during the years 1995-2001. Since 1993 he has been participating in international, national and regional exhibitions on painting and graphics. He took part in the “Hope Flowers” national art exhibition held in 1994 in the city of Kiev. In 1994, he participated in the national art exhibition “Paintings Ukraine”, which was held in the city of Mikolayiv. In 1995 and 1996, he opened his personal art exhibitions in Lviv, Ukraine. He opened 3 more personal art exhibitions in Poland in 2005. Then during 1996-2005, he participated in more than 10 outdoor painting and art exhibitions in Poland. The artist prefers to work with watercolours, and to use oil and pencil techniques. He participated in the international art exhibition “Sea Watercolour” held in Odessa, Ukraine. Later, during the years 2015 and 2018, he participated in many international art exhibitions such as India, Pakistan, Spain, Italy, Albania, Serbia, Switzerland, Canada, Bulgaria and Czech Republic. Since 2001, he has been working as a teacher at the Design and Architecture Fundamentals Department of the National University of Lviv.

Who is KaterynaOcheredko?
She was born in 1985 in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2010 she graduated from the Graphics Faculty of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute of Igor Sikorsky. She is a member of the National Artists Association of Ukraine. In 2012, she won scholarships from the Kyiv municipality for her personal contribution to the development of the city as gifted young people and for her achievements in social life. In 2012, she entered the list of the top 150 young artists from Ukraine and around the world as part of the Social Networking Art Competition held at the Art People gallery in San Francisco, USA. In the same year, she was granted a scholarship by the Kiev mayor for his personal creative contributions and high achievements in social life. Since 2007, she has participated in more than 15 national and 25 international painting and graphic exhibitions and outdoor painting events. During the years 2008 and 2018, she drew more than 15 paintings for children’s and adult books published in Ukraine and abroad. In 2016, she worked as an animator of the world’s first feature-length animated film, “Loving Vincent”, about the life and death of Vincent Van Gogh. In 2018, the movie “Loving Vincent” was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe awards.

In 2018 she was awarded for her participation in the “Engravings of the World” engraving and sculpture exhibition organized by the Association for the Fight Against Alzheimer’s Disease and Associated Diseases in collaboration with the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. In 2011, she won the “Green Wave” art competition held at the Artist Gallery in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2019, she opened her personal art exhibition “Repin’splaces” in Kiev. She also organized the personal engraving exhibition “Different and similar”. In 2015, she opened her personal engraving exhibition “Our World” in Minsk, Belarus. In 2011, she opened her personal engraving exhibition “My Kiev” at the Kiev Cultural Artists Museum. She participated in the international open-air exhibitions in China Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Egypt, and Spain. Her works are in museums and private collections of Ukraine, Egypt, Poland, Latvia, Spain, Italy, England, Germany, Australia, Egypt, USA and Greece.

Who is Mykhailo Drimailo?
He was born on October 22, 1991 in Lviv, Ukraine. In 2013, he received his master’s degree from the Graphic Faculty of the Ukrainian Printing Academy. In 2016, he started to work as an assistant in the Department of Painting and Book Graphics of the Ukrainian Printing Academy. His artwork is focused in the graphics area in general (especially the graphics of small forms and booklets), as well as in the colour the engraving technique. He participated in many international graphic exhibitions and biennials in countries such as Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Belarus and Japan. He attended the FISAE 2018 International Ex-libris Congress. The artist’s engravings are found in private graphic collections in Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria, USA, China, Japan and Ukraine.

Who is Solomiia Dorosh?
She was born on December 24, 1994 in Lviv, Ukraine. In 2019, she graduated from the Graphic Faculty of the Ukrainian Printing Academy. Today she works as an assistant at the Ukrainian Printing Academy.

In 2016, she took part in the art exhibition titled as “COW Illustration 2016” in Dnipro, Ukraine. She participated in the 16th International Small Graphics and Bookstore Biennial. In the same year she participated in an art exhibition in Ostrow Wielkopolski, Poland. Furthermore, she participated in the 2nd International Small Graphic Form Biennial in Rybnik, Poland. Additionally, in 2017, she participated in the 4th International Graphic Design Fair held in the Temesvarkent of Romania. Then in 2018, she participated in the art exhibition of the students of the Book and Printed Graphics Department of the Ukrainian Printing Academy in Bulgaria. In 2019 she participated in the art exhibition at Eugene Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Poland. Finally, on February 25, 2019, she organized her personal art exhibition “Inspiratio” at the Lviv Art Palace.

Who is Tetiana Ocheredko?

Who is Georgiy Makarov?
He was born in 1969 in Kazakhstan. He graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Pedagogical College of Montenegro in 1988. He is a participant of all-Union, National and International exhibitions. In 2019, he participated in the international group exhibition “CarrouselDuLouvre ART Shopping” held at the Louvre gallery in Paris. He also opened his solo exhibition “Both Night and Day” in Hamelin, Germany. In 2017, he opened his solo exhibition “Long awaited meal” in Dresden, Germany. Moreover, he also opened his personal art exhibition “Sugar Theorem” in the city of Almaty.

In the previous years, he participated in the group exhibition “Clothing in Art” in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2016. Also in 2014, he opened his personal art exhibition “Legendary” at the Arvest Gallery in Almaty. He opened his personal art exhibition “Fortune Telling” at the Clay House Gallery in Almaty. In 2013, he opened his personal art exhibition called “Legends” at the Arvest branch. In 2011, he opened his personal art exhibition “Meal” at Arvest galleries. In 2010, he opened his personal art exhibition “Game” at the Arvest gallery. In 2009, he participated in the group exhibition “Bull, winter, fantasy” organized in Almaty. In 2007, he participated in the group exhibition “Children Need Love” at the Kasteev Art Museum in Almaty. In 2005, he participated in the art exhibition “The Way of the House” organized in the ship gallery in Aktav and in 2000, he opened his personal exhibition “The Dance of the New Moon” in the city of Almaty. Who is Pairav Gulov?
He was born in 1983 in Tajikistan. In 2006, he graduated from the Painting Department of Tajikistan State Institute of Fine Arts and Design. He works as an artist at the Art Fund Workshop of the Republic of Tajikistan, and also serves as a teacher at the State Institute of Fine Arts and Design. He is a member of Tajikistan Artists’ Association. In 2016, he was awarded the silver medal of the International Union of Peace Artists and presented to the artist by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. He has held two personal exhibitions. He also participated in many group exhibitions in Tajikistan, Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. His works can be found in collections in Germany, Turkey, USA, France, Russia, China, India and other countries.
