In order to provide a warm welcoming to the students and also their parents, Near East University organized orientation programs in the beginning of September. The orientation days were very beneficial to the students for their adaptation to the Cypriot environment and culture. The orientation days completed with the seminars called ‘The First Step to the University and Culture Shock’. In these seminars, the information about the student’s responsibilities, Cyprus life and their rights provided.
In the first meeting, The Near East University Representative of Student Dean Dilan Çiftçi answered the questions which students asked about the campus and academic life. As Çiftçi announced, the students have satisfied with the Welcoming Organizations , Registration and Culture Tours. In other meetings, Prof. Dr. Gökmen Dağlı and MSc Cahit Nuri gave speech about the importance of Psychological Consultation Centre.
