Prof. Dr. Fazıl SAĞLAM

Prof. Dr. Fazil Saglam was born in Trabzon in 1940. He graduated from Austria High School and finished his higher education in Faculty of Law at Istanbul University.

He did his PhD in Koln University on a subject of business law. In 1973, he started working at Ankara University in Faculty of Political Sciences. He received title of associate professor in a field of constitutional law in 1980. In 1983 Fazil Saglam left the university and started working as a lawyer in İstanbul Bar Association.

During the years 1995-1996, he worked as a Member of Board and Vice President respectively in Turkey Bar Association. In 1996 he started working in Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yıldız Technical University. He became a Professor on field of constitutional law in 1999. On 21st august2003, Prof. Dr. Fazil Saglam was selected as Nobel member of the Constitutional Court by Ahmet Necdet Sezer. He is a Turkish Constitutional Lawyer. One of the founders of Ataturkist Thought Association.
He retired in 2005.

2010 – present – Lecturer in Faculty of Law at Near East University.
