He was born on 20/09/1963 in Leusanne Switzerland. He completed primary, secondary and high school at Antalya. He attended to University of Istanbul, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty on 1981. He gained MD degree on 1987. He started to his career at SSK Bingol Policlinic as medical doctor. He completed his military service as chief doctor of Golcuk Shipyard Headquarter. He continued to his career at SSK Besiktas Dispensary for two years.

He gained his specialization on Infectious diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Turkey Ministry of Health Department Sisli Etfal Hospital on 1997. He carried his first duty at Antalya Elmalı State Hospital as chief doctor. He moved to Antalya SSK Hospital on 1999. He established Infectious diseases and Clinical Microbiology department and Infection Control Committee in Antalya SSK Hospital. He started to work at Near East Medical Faculty Hospital on 3rd of January 2011 as specialist of Infectious diseases and Clinical Microbiology. In the department of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology at the Near East University, he received an assistant professor in 2012 and an associate professor in February 5, 2015. To date, there are 43 articles and 102 notices published in international and national journals.

His fields of work include hepatitis viruses, antibiotic resistance, one health, zoonoses, biotechnological products and antibacterial activities.
