She was born on 21.09.1961 in İstanbul. She completed her B.A. program at The University of Istanbul, Faculty of Letters, Department of Eastern Languages and Literatures, minor in Modern Turkic Language and Literature in 1983, and completed her M. A. program at The University of Marmara, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Turkish Language Major in 1986, and than completed Ph. D. program at The University of Marmara, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Turkish Language Major in 1991. She was lecturer at Bosphorus University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. She lectured Arabic, The Grammar of Turkish Language, Ottoman Turkish, Old Anatolian Turkish, Turkic Dialects, Survey of Turkish Language and Literature, Azarbajcan Turkish at Bosphorus University, Arabic courses at Bosphorus University, Arabic Applying and Research Center. She was helping Director of the Arabic Applying and Research Center at Bosphorus University in 1991-1996. She was assistant professor in the Bosphorus University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 1996- 2000 . She was visiting professor in Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic at Near East University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literatur in 2000-2002.And than She returned to Bosphorus University. Since 2003, She has been lecturer at Near East University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. She became an associate professor in 2006 at Near East University. She knows English, Arabic, Persian. She wrote so many articles in national and international periodicals, and wrote books about Turkish language.
