Nadezda Sarlovska was born on August 4, 1979 in Latvia. She completed her primary and secondary school in Latvia where she attended high school as well. While pursuing her university studies at Daugavpils University in Latvia, she travelled to England and the U.S.A through student exchange programs to improve her English language and acquire the experience of living and working abroad. She got experience working with American and international students in the International Camp and Conference Centre of Williams Bay, Wisconsin as a Youth Counselor in 1999. Upon the completion of her Bachelor’s Degree from Daugavpils University in 2001, she moved to the U.S.A. where she stayed till the end of 2004 working as a teacher (mentor) in South Carolina, U.S.A. After relocating to Cyprus at the end of 2004, she started working at Near East Universıty where she works up to date. Nadezda holds a Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching from Near East University. She has attended a variety of professional workshops both in Cyprus and abroad.
