Managing and recording; intellectual capital in organizations and firms and innovation and learning abilities, knowledge processing, encoding knowledge and information, establishing a competitive and sustainable advantage for all organizations acting in public, private and state sectors are significant factors in ‘Knowledge Management’ of which importance is widely known throughout the world since the beginning of the 1990s.
‘Knowledge Management’ is a complex, highly disciplinary and interdisciplinary field that integrate technology-centered and human-centered approaches.
Knowledge Management Research Centre of the Near East University is unique and first of its kind in the island. It was established in order to carry out ‘education-training’ ‘research-development’ and ‘professional service and consultancy’ to meet all of the requirements related to ‘Knowledge Management’ process in the state, public and private sectors.
The Centre has a dynamic team consisting of members, who are creative and innovative, successful researchers who prove themselves in their fields. The team aims to provide effective and efficient solutions based on scientific research and processes to deal with all of the problems relevant to the knowledge management that state, public and private sectors face with. Moreover, the Centre is responsible of meeting all the demands in ‘education-training’ ‘research-development’ and ‘professional service and consultancy’.
Knowledge Management Research Centre aims to improve various methods and means in order to provide the process of knowledge management programs and systems for different sectors and organizations. Moreover the Centre aims to make highly disciplinary and interdisciplinary research relevant to the field of all scientific processes.
Knowledge Management Research Centre aims to publish the research work relevant to the knowledge management with all scientific process, and carry out different research events, research projects by implementing the research results to the research that have been done.
Knowledge Management Research Centre aims to organize various seminars and education events by being inside of those organizations in order to deal with the problems relevant to the knowledge management that most of the organizations face with.
Knowledge Management Research Centre aims to have the responsibility of providing a professional service and consultancy relevant to the knowledge management in the sectors of health, aviation, education, transportation, law, media, agriculture, country defense, politics and economy.
Knowledge Management Research Centre is always in cooperation with the other well-established international application centers worldwide in carrying out activities related to ‘education-training’ ‘research-development’ and ‘professional service and consultancy’.
Knowledge Management Research Centre invites academicians and researchers from different disciplinarians to amass under our structure in order to contribute multidisciplinary studies.
Our Centre will also appreciate to the contributions of our students who receive undergraduate, graduate programs curious about knowledge management related to their fields, creative, talented, innovative.
