Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kamil ÖCAL

He was born in Diyarbakir, Turkey in 1957. He completed his primary and secondary educations in different cities around Turkey. During 1974-1979, he pursued his higher education at Faculty of Veterinary of University of Ankara. Then in March 1981, he was assigned as a Research Assistant at the Department of Anatomy of Faculty of Veterinary of University of Ankara. Later in 1985, he achieved his PhD degree.  He was then assigned as an Assistant Professor and later as Associate Professor in 1988 and 1989, respectively. In 1990, he moved to Istanbul, Turkey and to Aydin four years later. In 1995, he was promoted to rank of Professor in Adnan Menderes University, Aydın. Additionally, he has trained Academic Staff on Basic Training Skills at the Adnan Menderes University. Since the Fall Term of the Academic Year of 2016-2017, he began to work at the Near East University. Throughout his academic life, he has published 43 research articles, 2 books and a chapter of a book. His research interests include vascular system, computed tomography and osteometry of animals. He is married and has a  child.
