Born 1965 in Denizli, Turkey, have studied between 1982-1987 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ankara, Turkey. Worked between 1988-1989 at the Agricultural Directorate General of the Province Kars.

She made her PhD 1990-1994 at the Small Animal Clinic and the Institute of Virology of the Hannover University of the Veterinary Medicine, Germany.

PhD Thesis: “Isolation of Cytopathogenic Viruses (Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus) from Cats with Upper Respiratory Tract Diseases and Treatment Attempts of Herpes-Associated Diseases Using Acyclovir (Zovirax, GlaxoWellcome)”.

After obtaining the PhD degree she has worked as a Veterinary Doctor for almost 2 years in a private veterinary clinic nearby Hannover, and made in parallel a further education as a Pharmaceutical Marketing Manager at the Pharma Management Academy, Hamburg.

From 1996 on together with Dr. Hans Ingolf Nielsen (PhD. MSc.), one of the very first European Embryologists, she started to work as an embryologist at a private IVF clinic in Hamburg and in the following years as Senior Embryologist and Lab Director subsequently in Istanbul, Athens and Antakya.

Since 2014 she works as the responsible Senior Embryologist and Lab Director at the IVF Clinic of the Near East Universty Hospital and from January 2016 on she is lecturing at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and its Vocational School for Virology and Viral Vaccines.
