He was born in Ankara, Turkey, 2nd of February 1978. He had completed his primary, middle and high school education in Ankara. He has started his undergraduate education in Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and graduated in 2003. While he was working at Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığı İstanbul İl Müdürlüğü, he has accepted into the doctoral program in Ankara University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Department of Veterinary Medicine History & Deontology in 2005 and he has completed his PhD degree in 2011. In 2008, he stared working as a research assistant at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Medicine History & Deontology. In the same year, he won “The Original Subject and Best Presentation Award” in National Veterinary History and Professional Ethics Symposium after presenting a poster named “Animal Figures in The Paintings Osman Hamdi”. In 2012, he won Jury’s Special Award in Serhat Özyar Young Scientist of the Year Competition, with his PhD thesis. In 2012, he won a young scholarship third prize in Netherlands with his study named “A Gravestone from the Ancient Greece. Ancient Example of the Friendship between the dog and man” from The World Association for the History of Veterinary Medicine. In 2014, he was awarded a postdoctoral research fellowship from TUBITAK, with a project on history of science and bioethics at University of Sydney, Unit of History and Philosophy of Science for six months. Currently he has been working as an assistant professor at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, since 2014.
