The Department of Dermatology and Venereology carries out comprehensive diagnosis studies and the treatment procedures of dermatologic and veneral diseases with latest technology. The department conducts common skin procedures including dermoscopy, cryotherapy, electrocauterization, phototherapy, allergy skin tests, fungal test, dermatosurgery and dermocosmetic. Advanced diagnostic procedures are coordinately carried out with fully-equipped pathology and genetic laboratories of the hospital. BATH PUVA, PUVA, Re-PUVA, Narrow band UV-B treatments are locally and systemically carried out at the Phototherapy unit.

-the diagnosis and the treatment of all skin diseases are carried out at the department.

The department successfully carries out surgical procedures, tests for determining the cause of allergic reactions, fungal tests, pathergy test, skin and mucosa biopsies, electrocauterization, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen, intralesional injection, chemical peeling, dermocosmetic procedures and photothraphy.

Phototherapy Unit: UV-A, UV-B, narrow band UV-B, PUVA, Re-PUVA and Bath PUVA can be locally and systemically conducted.

Nevus (moles): Clinical assessment and follow-up of nevus are carried out with lenses produced with the most advanced technology. Photofinder device for mapping of moles and digital dermoscopy for clinical assessment of nevus are used at the clinic.

In-patient ward: The department offers private and single patient rooms with en-suite bathroom for inpatients. The department provides 24-hour nursing supervision that also includes the treatment of the patients. Thus, wound dressing procedure is carried out by experienced healthcare team.

We offer inpatient and outpatient services for all age ranges.

Working Hours:
– Outpatient clinic, clinical services and training activities are provided on weekdays between 08:30 – 16.30.
– Attending physicians offer services for urgent dermatological cases on weekends and off- hours.
