Assist. Prof. Dr. Başak SUNGUR

Başak Sungur was born on July 11, 1978 in Trabzon. She graduated from Ankara University Department of Food Engineering in 1999. In the same university and department, she completed her MS in 2003 and Ph.D in 2009. She worked as an lecturer at Ankara University Food Technology Program in 2001–2012 and as assistant professor at Avrasya University Department of Food Engineering and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts in 2012–2016 academic year. In 2011, she had training about Italian Foods and Desserts in Italy- Cordon Bleu Culinary School with the ERASMUS- Mobility Program scholarship. In 2012, The Academy of Culinary Arts (MSA-Istanbul), taking the total a year training on Professional Pastry and Bakery, she received the Ministry of Education and City and Guilds diploma. Başak Sungur, who specializes in bread quality, food additives and frozen bakery products,, has been working at Near East University, Department of Food Engineering as an Assist. Prof. Dr since September 2017.
