Ayhan Dolunay was born in Kyrenia, 1991. He graduated from Kyrenia Anafartalar Secondary School and started to Near East University Faculty of Law in 2009. After the post graduation programme he registered to Near East University Social Science Instutite Private Law Post Graduation programme under the scope of NEU Academic Member Education Programme – Teaching Staff Training Program (ÖYP), 2013. He began to work as research assistant at NEU Faculty of Law. He presented a TV program “Yakından Hukuk” which shooted at NEU TV and aired at BRT and Sim TV. In 2015, he defended his postgraduation thesis called “Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Court Decisions in Turkish Law and Turkish Cypriot Law” and completed his programme. While he continued to his law internship; registered to Near East University Social Science Instutite Private Law Doctorate programme, under the scope of ÖYP. He worked as academician and he had been entrusted with a task of NEU Law Consultancy. Under the scope of NEU advertising activities, he achieved several seminars of law – justice in TRNC and Turkey.

Dolunay registered to NEU Social Science Institute Media and Communication Studies Doctorate programme under the scope of ÖYP in 2015 and began to work as a full time member of NEU Faculty of Communication. Also, in 2016, he began to work at NEU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as a part time member.

Dolunay pariticipated to Law, Political Science and Communication thems symposiums and seminars’ organization committees. He attended to several national and international conferences and made presentations. In English and Turkish language, he has several publishing about communication, law, sociology in national and international academic journals (Thomson Reuters Wos SSCI/SCI Expanded/ESCI, Scopus). Also he has 3 published books.
