Wasborn March 27th 1979 in Ankara, Turkey. Her father was an army officer and mother an agricultural engineer. Koyuncu completed her primary, middle, and high school education in Ankara. She received her BA in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations from Gazi University in 2002 and her MBA in 2006.
In 2002 Koyuncu started teaching at Yüzüncü Yıl University department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations as a research assistant. Between the years 2003-2013, Koyuncu worked as a Research Assistant at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations (Management and Working Psychology) in 2014. In 2015 she became an Assisatant Professor of Management and Working Psychology and between the years 2014-2016 she was appointed as the Chair for the Department of Labor Ecomomics and Industrial Relations. In 2016-2017 academic year Koyuncu started teaching at Near East University as a full-time member of staff. She is married and has twochildren.
